Our Savior Lutheran Preschool offers the perfect balance of learning and play, combining structured learning experiences with play activities designed for each developmental stage.
Our programs take place in a fun and safe environment – offering far more than just child care. Preschool is the first introduction to a lifetime of learning, a journey that should start off on the right foot. Our purpose is to nurture 3, 4 and 5 year old children’s spiritual, emotional, physical, cognitive and social growth through developmentally appropriate activities, educationally excellent methods and a qualified staff that models Christian faith and love.
Teacher’s provide developmentally appropriate activities to support the Illinois State Board of Education’s Guidelines for Early Learning and the A Beka Book Curriculum. Through these recommendations for learning and following our philosophy of Learning through Play, children who attend our program have many classroom experiences that enrich the whole child.
Our enthusiastic teachers genuinely care about children, and understand each child’s individual developmental needs and learning styles. They take the time to help each child discover, in his or her own way, a fascinating world of play and learning.
Our Savior Lutheran Preschool and Kindergarten is a mission of Our Savior Lutheran Church and has been providing quality, Christian programs since 1992.
Our program is DCFS licensed and maintains a student/teacher ratio of 10 to 1.
